Paddlers Anonymous Open House Saturday Feb 7, 2009

What is a Paddlers Anonymous (P.A.) Open House?

  • The Open House is an opportunity for paddlers to preview a typical season's practice before committing to an entire season before registration commences.
Who should attend?
  • Paddlers with at least 1 year of experience with dragon boating
  • Paddlers interested in progressing within P.A.
  • Paddlers interested in increasing their fitness level, socializing and having fun
Agenda:
  • 15 minute weight training
  • 30 minute conditioning class
  • 30 minute pool practice
  • 15 minute Q&A session
What should I bring?
  • Runners and pool shoes (i.e. flip flops)
  • Pool clothing (i.e. dry fit top, shorts, pants)
  • Gym clothing (i.e. dry fit top, shots, pants)
  • Water and snacks
Why should you attend?
  • To get a sense of the team and training atmosphere

  • The PA Open House is highly recommended, but is not required for registering nor does it guarantee a spot for registration on any PA team. This is a 'try-us-out', NOT a team try out.
  • Only paddlers with at least 1 year of prior dragonboat/paddling experience is invited to attend this Open House. 2009 Registration Details for all PA teams (including the beginner level) will available after the PA Open House.
